"Officials at the Prince Albert Municipality in the Karoo on Tuesday refused to make public reasons behind the suspension of their municipal manager. Juanita Fortuin was suspended on Monday after a special meeting pending an investigation.
"Prince Albert Municipality’s Mayor April Pienaar said, 'The MM (municipal manager) was suspended on serous allegations and currently the case is sub judice.'"Local Government MEC Anton Bredell on Tuesday told Eyewitness News he is waiting for a full report on the matter."
To our knowledge the MEC has since received a full and detailed report on the matter.
